As some of the people signing the guestbook thought that Mr Losche was directly involved with the site, he isn't.
Just a quick note to let you know that I have moved the website to:

A move has been planned for a while, but Bravent speeded it up when I found out they'd deleted the site!
Why? Because it included a gallery of pictures as far as I can tell.
The move has gone fairly smoothly, few glitches with the guestbook and repeating Freeserve banner across the top of the page, but I'm working on it :)

Norbert Lösche will is to be featured on German regional television!
The TV-Channel is WDR 3, "Lokalzeit Regio Aachen", (Westdeutscher Rundfunk), which has its headquarter in Cologne.
The segment will be on air in WDR 3, between 19.30 - 19.59, Wednesday 31st July 2002.
It will be filmed on Friday in different locations.
One location should be the Restaurant "Pontgarten" in Aachen where they have an ongoing exhibition of his work.

In the Cosmic Tarot section, a picture of The Moon tarot card that got Mr Lösche the contract for the deck with FX Schmid has been added along with information on how to get the Spanish version of Mr Lösche's Cosmic Tarot book:

The book isn't available in English at this time.
The Cosmic Tarot and Werner Bogun sections now have their own pages to help speed up the loading time of the site, and an 'updated' graphic will be used to show visitors which sections have new work and information included.
The writing in the updates graphic was 'filled' in with the High Priestess card from the Cosmic Tarot Deck.
No news yet on the progress of the new Tarot project, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that all is going well.
For those of you who speak German here is a brief biography of Norbert Lösche that I will be including at the site. Mr Holl kindly sent it over.
Norbert Lösche - Information Sommer 2002
Norbert Lösche, Jahrgang 1951, lebt und arbeitet Norbert Lösche seit über 25 Jahren als freier Künstler in Aachen und Umgebung. Nach einigen Semestern Kunstgeschichte widmete er sich ab 1975 ganz der Malerei. Beeinflusst von den Werken von Hieronymus Bosch, Pieter Brueghel, den Romantikern (Kaspar David Friedrich), den Surrealisten, (Dali, Clericci) und der Schule des Phantastischen Realismus (Ernst Fuchs, Mati Klarwein) schuf er in den siebziger Jahren eine psychedelische Bilderwelt voller traumatischer Symbolik. In dieser Zeit war er, philosophisch gesehen, in den Religionen des Christentums, des Hinduismus sowie im Zen, der transzendentalen Meditation und den Lehren Bhagwans (von dem er sich nach einem Aufenthalt in der Kommune in Oregon abwandte) zu Hause.
Der Dalai Lama erhielt in den achtziger Jahren eines seiner wunderschönen Rosenbilder als Geschenk Handkolorierte Radierungen von Lösche fanden ihren Weg in die Wohnung eines New Yorker Kunsthändlers. Sammler seiner Kunst finden sich in allen Schichten der Bevölkerung, wobei der surreal-traumatische Teil seines Schaffens unter Ärzten, Psychiatern und Neurologen eine Reihe von Malern gefunden hat.
Gegen Ende der achtziger Jahre etablierte er sich als freier Mitarbeiter der Agentur Holl, Aachen, international als Illustrator. Norbert Lösche schuf das u. a. das COSMIC -TAROT, das inzwischen in sechs Sprachen erschienen ist. Auf zahlreichen Büchern (vor allem im esoterischen Bereich) finden sich seine Bilder wieder. Als Illustrator der Bücher „Handbuch der Astrologie“ , „Lexikon der Esoterik“ sowie „Traumdeutung und Traumsymbole“ konnte er seinen reichen Wissensschatz im Bereich der menschlichen Entwicklung und Transformation in adäquate Bilder umsetzen.
In der Mitte der 90iger Jahre beschäftigte Norbert Lösche sich mit den Arbeiten abstrakter Künstler (hier vor allem Kandinsky) Es entstanden zahlreiche vom abstrakten Konstruktivismus beeinflusste Ölgemälde. Von dieser Entwicklungsphase ausgehend entwickelte Norbert Lösche über den Abstrakten Expressionismus sein Oeuvre der reinen Lichtmalerei, die zur Jahrtausendwende in die Malerei von Mandalas überging. Für den Kenner seines künstlerischen Werdegangs ist es interessant zu wissen, dass parallel eine Hinwendung zum Buddhismus vollzogen wurde.
Zur Zeit entstehen neben den geometrischen Mandalas große Wandgemälde, mit denen er sich auch als Meister der Illusionsmalerei ausweist. Das letzte große Projekt ist die Schöpfung eines neuen Tarot, daß in Zusammenarbeit mit Werner Bogun, einem Fachautor für esoterische Bücher, entsteht. Norbert Lösche lebt zur Zeit in Aachen.
